The new iPad Pro will support wireless charging and abandon the glass material on the back for durability considerations

Although the new iPad Pro still has wireless charging, but 9to5Mac’s Filipe Espósito reported today that Apple may finally remove the glass-backed design after testing due to concerns about fragility. The report, citing sources familiar with Apple’s design plans, said that Apple has developed an iPad Pro prototype with a larger Apple logo made of glass, which would still allow for wireless charging.

One of the prototypes is said to feature MagSafe, which is stronger than the magnets on the iPhone, to It’s protected from accidental damage, and it’s said to support faster wireless charging than the MagSafe on the iPhone.

Given that Apple has prototyped several products in-house, there’s no guarantee an iPad Pro with a glass Apple logo will be released, but rumors do seem to agree that the next iPad Pro will be There is some kind of new design to enable wireless charging.
