Un incendio destruyó un galpón en una cooperativa de reciclado en la ciudad de Corrientes durante el sábado. El lugar se identificó como “Proyecto Fortaleza”, que quedó completamente destruido, como las herramientas de trabajo que estaban en el lugar.
Si bien no hubo que lamentar ni heridos ni víctimas fatales, desde la cooperativa apuntan a que fue intencional. “Fue claramente un atentado. Iniciaron el fuego desde atrás. Esperaron que se vayan las últimas personas a las 2 de la tarde y para las 2 y 20 esto estaba completamente encendido”, afirmó un hombre mientras grababa el video de las llamas.
El galpón estaba ubicado en la calle Reconquista al 3.500, en el barrio Ongay de la ciudad de Corrientes, donde se depositan plásticos y otros materiales inflamables que ayudaron a que las llamas se expandan rápidamente.
El secretario del lugar, Alejandro Taglang, confirmó que la cooperativa Fortaleza tenía previsto vender dos camiones repletos de materiales reciclables. Esos fondos iban a ser utilizados para la Fiesta Nacional del Chamamé.
“Lamentamos muchísimo lo que nos pasó el día de hoy. Lograron destruir un trabajo donde se viene luchando día a día durante 30 años ayudando a muchas personas dando trabajo y sobre todo cuidar nuestro medio ambiente”, expresó el lugar desde su cuenta de Facebook.
“Lo que hace la maldad y la envidia de la gente… Todos nuestros esfuerzos de trabajo. El fuego lo iniciaron desde atrás”, escribió un hombre en los comentarios que acompañaron el posteo.
