The whiskey
Glenlivet is one of the best known and most popular distilleries in Scotland and rightly so: The 12-year-old entry-level whiskey is perfect for whiskey beginners. It is aromatic, full-bodied and at the same time mild enough not to overwhelm anyone. Its intense fruit note makes it perfect for fresh and fruity cocktails, such as the Casablanca Sour by Andreas Till from the Pacific Times in Munich. It also has a great price-performance ratio (Buy here: Glenlivet 12 Years, 32.89 euros, via Amazon)
