The rare case of a 77-year-old Japanese was described by doctors in a case report published in BMC Infectious Diseases . The man came to Tokyo Medical University Hospital with relatively typical symptoms of covid, including cough and mild fever, according to the IFL Science portal . The team, of course, knows that it cannot confirm a causal link on the basis of a single case report. It is possible that the man was simply unlucky, and after overcoming the covid, he also developed restless legs syndrome in his rectum.
