The rare case of a 77-year-old Japanese was described by doctors in a case report published in BMC Infectious Diseases . The man came to Tokyo Medical University Hospital with relatively typical symptoms of covid, including cough and mild fever, according to the IFL Science portal . Finally, due to the similarity of these conditions, he was diagnosed with restless leg syndrome
Since the man had never had such a problem before, until he received a covid, doctors concluded that these unpleasant symptoms were related to the man. just with Covid-19.
The team, of course, knows that it cannot confirm a causal link on the basis of a single case report. It is possible that the man was simply unlucky, and after overcoming the covid, he also developed restless legs syndrome in his rectum.
