Love since childhood

The young Saudi woman, who has been enthusiastic since her childhood, is fascinated by riddles and police stories, but the year 2013 was a turning point in her career. She discovered her true passion, and here Al-Osaimi says to “Previously”: “Since childhood I have been mainly interested in puzzles and police stories, but at the beginning of 2013 I discovered that my passion is not only solving puzzles, but taking responsibility for the credibility of the solution, and this is part of my personality.”

This great passion for solving puzzles prompted her to study forensic science, and excel in it by obtaining a master’s degree in genetic fingerprinting and forensic evidence with an excellent grade with first class honors; There are many motives, but the most important of them is achieving justice through the smallest molecule in the human body, which is the genetic material, as she put it.

Although her choice of forensic evidence sparked a storm of fear and suspicion within her small circle of family and relatives, she was able to succeed and excel, and to complete academic studies. to a master’s degree. In addition to these successes, she was chosen to be the first official spokesperson from Saudi Arabia at the Second International Conference on Forensic Evidence. And here she says: “In the beginning, there was a great fear from everyone, even from my family, that it was a specialty whose end was unknown, or even the path in it, since it was a new specialty, and I was one of the first batch registered in it, but thank God they saw my enthusiasm, especially the bachelor’s period, courses and activities The one that I brought, related to forensic evidence, so they were the biggest motivation for me to study the specialty.” Men; She says: “Women since ancient times, and now, and in the coming years, are able to assume any responsibility entrusted to them, whether at the scientific or practical levels. Therefore, we now see batches of graduates in this specialty, and other military disciplines, and they have drawn strength and high efficiency, which exceeded expectations. Society. With the Saudi Vision 2030, women have become able to compete in strong competitions in all fields, and have also proven their worth strongly, and therefore the field is not limited to men, but to the person who is passionate about this field, whether male or female.”

The Saudi leadership is credited with paving the way for Saudi women in all fields: “There is no doubt that our wise government and our ambitious leadership paved all roads, facilitated procedures, and eased conditions that were an obstacle for some to complete their educational or professional career.” We now feel the size of the achievement that Saudi Arabia has achieved with the plan set for Vision 2030, even before reaching it. This, if indicated, indicates a great people, equal to the strength of their leadership.”

The niqab is not an obstacle… and ambition has no limits.

The forensic expert points out that her niqab has not been respected. She never expressed her desire to achieve success in her scientific and practical career, and expresses this by saying: “The obstacles are often only internal and psychological, built by the person inside his mind, and he acts on it. Neither the veil nor society has anything to do with defining the ambition, distinction and identity of a person. Only he is capable of that.”

Despite the certificates and memberships that the young Saudi woman holds, she holds a master’s degree in genetics and criminal evidence, and holds several certificates in the criminal and forensic fields. She is also a member of the Arab Society for Forensic Sciences, in addition to being chosen as the first woman to be the first official spokesperson from Saudi Arabia at the Second International Conference on Forensic Science. There are limits, but they are steps I take quietly until I reach my goal, God willing, which is to be a consultant in DNA.”
