Billie Eilish (19) criticized the state’s abortion law and climate deniers when she performed at the Texas festival this weekend.

The new abortion law in Texas in the USA makes it illegal to have an abortion after the sixth week of pregnancy. Both women and those who help them to have an abortion after week six are at risk of being sued.

Several thousand have demonstrated against the law in the last week, artist Billie Eilish reached out to the law from the stage when she played on Austin City Limits Music Festival Saturday.

– When they introduced this law, I almost did not want to play here, the artist from the stage said according to Yahoo Entertainment.

The 19-year-old has also previously shown her disgust with the new law and said that she is tired of men who say nothing when women’s rights are narrowed.

Eilish also spoke out against those who do not believe in climate change. Insider writes that she has called climate deniers losers.

The website has tried to contact spokespersons for the artist to get more comments, but has not received a response.
