Amazon verrät Titel von Herr-der-Ringe-Serie

Die neue Serie mit dem etwas sperrigem Namen wird ab dem 2. September zu sehen sein.

Mit einem Video hat Amazon den Titel der neuen TV-Serie im Herr-der-Ringe-Universum angekündigt: Der Herr der Ringe: Die Ringe der Macht. Im englischen Original ist er ähnlich sperrig: The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

Einige User*innen sind vom Titel amüsiert. Für sie klingt er nach einer Zeichentrick-Serie aus den 80er-Jahren, die Samstag vormittags im Kinderprogramm laufen würde.

Die große Mehrheit ist aber begeistert und fiebert dem 2. September 2022 entgegen. Ab dann wird Die Ringe der Macht auf Amazon Prime zu sehen sein.

Die Handlung spielt im Zweiten Zeitalter von Mittelerde, Tausende Jahre vor den Ereignissen der Herr-der-Ringe-Filmtrilogie. Laut den Show-Verantwortlichen wird die Serie, die mehrere Staffeln haben wird, die wichtigsten Ereignisse des Zweiten Zeitalters behandeln: Das Schmieden der Ringe, der Aufstieg von Lord Sauron, die epische Geschichte von Númenor und die letzte Allianz der Elfen und Menschen.
