The mere designation “Up to 8 GB” means that in the future there may also be slightly cheaper versions of the card, but equipped with 4 GB VRAM. There will also be 32 MB of Infinity Cache and 28 Ray Accelerators for hardware acceleration. and Ray Tracing calculations. As for the core clock, in Game mode it is 2044 MHz, while in Boost mode it reaches 2491 MHz. We also learned the initial performance of the AMD Radeon RX 6600 card in relation to the GeForce RTX 3060 chip. The information comes from the manufacturer’s documentation, so we should wait for the publication of independent reviews for final confirmation. In the case of rasterization performance, the Radeon RX 6600 is often expected to reach a level similar to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 card. Sometimes it is a few percent in favor of AMD, sometimes in favor of NVIDIA. In comparison, Radeon fares the worst in Cyberpunk 2077, where it is 12% weaker than the GeForce RTX 3060. In the case of e-sports games, AMD differs from NVIDIA in two games (differences of 10 and 19%) and these are the Overwatch and PUBG titles. Radeon is slightly more noticeable than NVDII in games with Ray Tracing enabled – on average it is a 13% weaker card, while the biggest difference revealed in the AMD documentation concerns Battlefield V, where it is 31% in favor of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 card .
