Another 11 EU members signed the Lithuanian-initiated appeal to the European Commission

In the Council, Minister A. Bilotaitė presented the appeal initiated by Lithuania to the European Commission, emphasized the need to change the EU legal framework. system and adapt it to the new, unexpected reality.

The petition was signed by Lithuania and eleven other EU Member States. Ministers of the Interior of Austria, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Greece, Cyprus, Latvia, Poland, Slovenia and Hungary. Romania and the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU also expressed their support for the Council meeting.
