Araguaína City Hall opens new public notice to fill vacancies in Nova Feirinha commercial points

Prefeitura de Araguaína has opened a new public notice for the accreditation of merchants interested in filling the remaining vacancies in the commercial points located in the building of the Municipal Space of Commerce and Culture Feirinha. In all, ten vacancies were made available in the public notice, including points for snack bars, cold cuts, açaiteria, sale of seafood, handicrafts, perfumery and gardening products.

The call was published in the Official Gazette of the Municipality nº 2461 and interested parties have until February 2 to register to apply for the vacancies still available.

“Firstly, the vacancies were made available to the merchants who already worked in the region of the old Feirinha before the opening of the new building and with the opening of vacancies we opened a public call for the rest of the community. In the first public call, part of the vacancies were filled, but as there are still boxes to be filled, we opened a new opportunity for traders”, explained the superintendent of Funamc, Neif Gomes.

How to apply
In order to apply for vacancies, it is necessary to meet all requirements required by the public notice and submit the documentation from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm, at Funamc (Fundação de Atividade Municipal Comunitária), located at Rua Humberto de Campos, nº 508, Bairro São João .

After acquiring the vacancy, the permit holder must pay a monthly fee for the maintenance of the public space, established in Complementary Law No. 078/2020 and Complementary Law No. 106/ 2021, based on the value of the square meter of each box, ranging from R$266.57 to R$468.03 with the discount during the first 24 months, according to the type of business.

Commerce and you rismo
The new Feirinha has 30 commercial stalls, in addition to typical Tocantins food restaurants located at the top . With its full occupation, the place should generate about 150 direct jobs and move five tons of food every month with restaurants and sale of food such as vegetables, fish and artisan products.

The project also foresees a second stage that will comprise the remaining two blocks of the Feirinha. A square and the Civil Police Station Complex will be installed on the site.
