A delegation of Brazilian athletes and para-athletes was at the National Congress this week to discuss priority issues for the sports sector with parliamentarians. Among the issues discussed are the Sports Incentive Law, the proposal that institutes the General Sports Law and the implementation of the National Sports Plan. 23 years ago, the Pelé Law mandated the federal government to prepare and send to Congress, every ten years, the PND. However, the law was never enforced.
