Bad news for iPhone fans: what's happening with the SE model

At the beginning of 2021, some rumors talked about the next iPhone SE with a more modern design.

Now, however, by “updating” such a rumor, says that, in fact, the iPhone SE (2022) will have the same design as the iPhone SE (2020), which actually reused the design of the iPhone 8 in 2017.

This will certainly seem out of place in the mobile world this year, with virtually all phones, including low-budget phones, thanks to the “full screen” look. The new iPhone SE won’t have any of that, though. Again, iPhone SE buyers don’t care how old their device’s design is, as long as it’s the cheapest iPhone to buy, they’ll get it. Ah, and this time, it will also be built-in 5G.

An outdated design

“Update to this tweet! iPhone SE with a design similar to XR / 11 with a slightly smaller screen size, has been pushed back to an expected launch in 2024. For 2022, Apple will launch an iPhone SE with 5G, a bump in specifications and the same design as the 2020 model. ” posted on Twitter Dylan, the one who launched the rumor.

It’s probably the weirdest mobile product from Apple , iPhone SE, with its two-year refresh cycle, unheard of elsewhere, even in Apple’s own portfolio, and those refreshes only “refresh” something in the design department every generation, that is, every four years! But again, none of this matters, people will continue to buy the iPhone SE because it’s the only cheap iPhone.

In 2024, by the way, the iPhone SE should get a design that reminiscent of the iPhone XR and iPhone 11, only with a slightly smaller screen size. It won’t receive Face ID, but it is supposed to come with a Touch ID sensor built into the power button. In two years, you will get such amazing innovations on iPhone SE.
