With BIKE TIROL, a Fully digitized bike rental, the project partners ÖBB, Land Tirol, Verkehrsverbund Tirol, Tirol Werbung, CommunAlp and Inn-Bike offer the ideal complement to use the Tyrolean public transport increasingly for leisure activities. The system was initially started as a pilot with three locations in the immediate vicinity of the Kufstein, Wörgl Hbf. And Matrei am Brenner train stations. The aim is to gradually roll out the project to a comprehensive system throughout Tyrol in the future.

There are currently 25 high quality and sporty e-mountain bikes or mountain bikes in sizes S, M and L are available. The bikes can be conveniently borrowed by anyone with a smartphone and credit card. Simply download the “BIKE TIROL” app and book the bike you want.
Booking is made digitally via the “BIKE TIROL” app. The advance reservation and booking of rental bikes is possible from anywhere using the “BIKE TIROL” app provided by ÖBB-Personenverkehr. The choice of bike types or sizes is made in the “BIKE TIROL” app. The bikes can be booked up to 14 days in advance using the “BIKE TIROL” app.
The bike is opened when you pick it up -Lounge and the locks of the rented bicycles simply and easily using the “BIKE TIROL” app. BIKE TIROL is designed in such a way that the rental bikes can be rented and returned at each of the three locations 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
When the bicycles are returned, the bike lounge is opened and the rented bicycles are locked again using the BIKE TIROL app.
