A tough period coming up.
United on the road for their next three matches.
The Newcastle United away record tested with a trio of matches in a 10 day stretch.

Have a look at the most recent 15 Newcastle United away matches across more than eight months.

That Newcastle United away record reads:
Played 15 Won 9 Drawn 1 Lost 5
As you can see, we aren’t talking about a few games, this is a really good and solid Newcastle United away record.
Actually, what am I talking about???
If you heard that a team had won nine of their last fifteen away matches, you would think that was a class effort.
To have lost only one third of the last 15 away games over more than eight months AND to have only lost in that time to the teams who finished 1st, 2nd, 6th, 8th and 10th in the Premier League last season (10th placed Palace were on a great run of form at the time).
Also very encouraging to see that Newcastle managed 28 goals in these most recent 15 away matches, averaging almost two goals per game.
With the early matches this 2024/25 season suggesting every chance of getting back to the kind of defensive discipline and form before Nick Pope got injured back at the start of December 2023, things could well be heading in the right direction at both ends of the pitch.
If United come through these three away matches unbeaten, it would be a real positive and mean Newcastle United unbeaten in their last eight matches home and away matches, indeed unbeaten in their last six away from home.
Last season Newcastle United picked up four points from the two away away games at Wolves and Fulham, a repeat of that plus progress in the cup at Wimbledon would really set things up ahead of Man City at home,, have a real go at them at St James’ Park.
