Cardi B Testifies She Wanted To Take Her Own Life Following Prostitution Allegations Made By Tasha K

Cardi B took the stand on Thursday morning in a federal court case, explaining to a judge and jury that she wanted to take her own life after blogger Tasha K made allegations about her personal and sexual life back in 2018.

According to TMZ, Cardi appeared in court and said, “I wanted to commit suicide” after Tasha made multiple videos claiming Cardi was a prostitute and had contracted various sexually transmitted infections. She also stated, “I felt defeated and depressed and I didn’t want to sleep with my husband.”

Cardi B went on to explain that she didn’t feel she deserved to have her daughter Kulture, who was born shortly after the allegations were made, and told the jury she experienced fatigue, anxiety, weight loss and migraines. She even stated that she decided to seek therapy as a result of the videos.

“Only and evil person could do that sh*t,” Cardi B said.

Cardi B is suing Tasha K for allegedly defaming her in multiple videos where she made disturbing and shocking claims about the rapper. In on video, Tasha claimed Cardi “f*cked herself with beer bottles on f*ckng stripper stages.”

Tasha also alleged Cardi had herpes, which the rapper denied during her testimony, recalling an instance I which she posted a photo kissing her daughter Kulture on the lips, and people criticized her for doing so.

According to Billboard, a report by Law360 notes that Tasha was questioned by Cardi’s attorney at the start of the trial, and admitted that she knowingly published rumors about Cardi B in order to raise money for her business.

The trial is set to continue on Tuesday, Jan. 18th.
