Chamber of Commerce: Dutch companies have to process 294 cyber attacks every week

It regularly happens that many page views are sent to Tweakers.net from an IP, more than usual – even for very large organizations such as KPN, the Tax and Customs Administration and the various ministries. To protect ourselves against (further) nuisance, we stop this request.

In most cases, this message will disappear after a minute.

Here are some common causes:

Proxy servers, link checkers, or crawlers misconfigured and/or ignoring our robots.txt Over-enthusiastic feed readers requesting an RSS feed every few seconds

  • Something on your keyboard and holding the F5 button (for example, a cat or headphones)

In addition to the above reasons, misbehavior on Tweakers.net is also a reason to block an IP. This usually involves things like hacking attempts or repeatedly harassing fellow users.

If you see this message for a long time and you don’t know why , please send us an email. You can also email for further questions or comments. You do that to gathering@tweakers.net, also state your IP: 2a02:4780:3:5::6 and this string : 04:32:21-23490A
