The head of the Ministerial Cabinet, Guido Bellido, announced in Chimbote the installation of a work table to evaluate and propose solutions to the fishing problem.
This occurred during a working visit to the department of Áncash, where the premier fulfilled an agenda of activities with the authorities, unions and the citizens of this jurisdiction.
From the auditorium of the Chimbote Fishermen’s Union and annexes , the premier specified that the installation of the work table would be carried out in the coming days, through a ministerial resolution, which It will convene the sectors involved to jointly solve the fishing problem.
He also stressed the importance of establishing mechanisms for solution and dialogue in the face of social conflicts and of ordering the fishing sector in tax matters. “We have to order ourselves and those who must pay taxes have to do it accordingly,” he added.
Likewise, it was reported that representatives of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the ministries of Energy and Mines and Production, as well as the fishing associations and sectors and the Congress of the Republic, who will evaluate and propose solutions to this situation.
“It is urgent to set up a table with the ministries, with the PCM and, based on this, evaluate everything that you are proposing, to make decisions. A call will be made to all the fishing associations to be able to start this process and jointly be able to reach solutions. Today we are proposing this initiative, which the government of our brother Pedro Castillo Terrones will carry out, “he said.

To continue with his work agenda, the prime minister participated at a working table with provincial mayors, which took place in the Santa Provincial Municipality.
The provincial mayors of Huarmey, Elmer Dueñas; del Santa, Eugenio Jara; from Pallasca, Miranda Alvino, and from Corongo, Ascario Wilman Ponce, who presented their projects and demands on housing, agriculture, production, health and education. In turn, Bellido Ugarte showed his willingness to evaluate a solution to their problems.
In addition, the head of the Ministerial Cabinet participated together with the district mayor of Santa, Eugenio Jara and the congressmen Jaime Quito, Kelly Portalatino and Elías Vara, inaugurated a modern oxygen plant in the Santa health center, to supply patients who require it in the event of an eventual third wave of the covid-19 pandemic .
At the event, he highlighted the importance of having an oxygen plant, as well as providing the country with resources and infrastructure in the face of a possible third wave of covid-19.
Similarly, he thanked the health personnel who are on the front line of this fight against the coronavirus. Likewise, he expressed his will that Santa have a hospital, which will be channeled, he said, through the mayor to have the corresponding technical file.
Unlock investment projects
On the other hand, regarding the Chinecas irrigation project that is paralyzed, the premier explained that one of the objectives of the current Government is to seek the mechanisms to unlock the paralyzed or unfinished works, to benefit the country, to generate labor and because the country has invested in them.
He also reiterated that private investment in Peru is welcome and enjoys legal stability, but complying with what the Peruvian State establishes and, in this sense, pointed out that the government works so that companies medium and small have the best conditions and that the Peruvian businessman has the opportunity to become a large company.
