Crystal Fung and Kaman Kong Are Paired On Gameshow

Has time mended the broken friendship between actresses Crystal Fung (馮盈盈) and Kaman Kong (江嘉敏)? The answer appears to be no, from their recent awkward interactions on TVB gameshow You Laugh You Lose <真係唔好玩>!

Fallout Over Social Climbing?

Reportedly falling out after attending a yacht party hosted by Arnaldo Ho (何猷亨) in 2020, tabloids had alleged their social climbing behaviors, after which they each had their respective versions of who invited whom to the event. Kaman also updated her socials with cryptic commentary which were assumed to be referring to Crystal.

Although TVB arranged for the two to co-host talk show Deciphering Scheming Girls <解構心機女> together, vibes between the former good friends seemed more icy than truly reconciliatory, as surmised from their rigid body language.

On recent gameshow You Laugh You Lose aired on August 12, the pair, who were deliberately “pushed together” by fellow artistes, appeared as awkward together in their real-life interactions, even after 3 years!

Making a rare appearance side by side, Crystal and Kaman had been assigned to opposing teams. But other team mates including Mayanne Mak (麥美恩) and Matthew Ho (何廣沛) were quick to create chances for contact between the two. Particularly in the segment “Fated to Be”, they took the chance to voice out how Kaman and Crystal did not have to search for their destined game mate, as they were already meant for each other!

“Pushing” Kaman to take the position next to Crystal, fellow contestants quickly walked away leaving the two side by side, as they put on an awkward laugh. They were then tasked to compete against each other one on one in a later game segment.
