Daniel Mickelson († 23): cause of death clarified: drugs cost him his life

He wanted to become a big Hollywood star, but his dream was not to come true. Daniel Mickelson died unexpectedly and far too early on July 4th at the age of 23. The sister of the young actor announced this on Instagram at the time.

“My heart is broken and that too writing feels so wrong, I don’t even know what to say, “writes Meredith Mickelson and shares a photo from happy childhood days. “Yesterday I lost my brother, my best friend and the other half of my heart. There was no person in the world I loved more. There are no words that can do him justice.” Meredith writes that she will remember her “sunshine” forever and thank God for choosing her to be Daniel’s sister.

Update (September 28): As the British newspaper “The Sun” reported, it is now clear what the 23-year-old died of. According to the Los Angeles coroner’s report, Daniel had a toxic mixture of fentanyl and cocaine in his blood. The death was an accident.

Meredith, who works as a model and has more than 2 million followers on Instagram, received many loving comments and condolences for her post after her brother’s death. Friends, fans and colleagues are shocked about Daniel’s death. Music producer Zedd (31) writes as well as model Jordyn Woods (23) and actor Will Peltz (35) how sorry he is that Meredith lost her brother.
