DxOMark just published a full review of last year’s camera vivo X70 Pro , for which we already knew it was among the best cameras on the market. DxOMark’s rating is in line with this as the phone received an overall rating of 131 points and shares 12th place with the Oppo Find X3 Pro and the vivo X50 Pro +. Interestingly, this puts it one spot above the iPhone 13, 13 mini and 12 Pro Max.
Reviewers liked the correct exposure, vivid colors, great details in low light scenarios, proper white balance on ultra-wide camera and efficient video stabilization. On the other hand, review findings suggest that there is a noticeable cut in fine detail in some scenarios, little noise both day and night, color edges on the ultra-wide camera (this is a common problem, by the way) and loss of focus and detail in video scenes in low light.
Key camera specifications:
Primary: Sony IMX766V 50 MP sensor, lens with aperture f / 1.75, gimbal-OIS
Ultra-wide: 12 MP sensor, aperture f / 2.2
Tele: 12 MP sensor, f / 1.98 aperture 2x lens Tele: 8 MP sensor, f / 3.4 aperture 5x lens
Video: 4K / 1080p / 720p at 60/30/24 fps (tested 4K / 30 fps )
