Farruko and DJ Tiësto launch new version of “Pepas”

Through a statement it was learned that the Puerto Rican artist Farruko launched this Friday a new version of his worldwide hit “Pepas” in collaboration with DJ Tiësto.

The second official remix of the song “Pepas” (Tiësto Remix) speeds up the rhythm of the song and adds elements trance lines that complement the song’s characteristic synth line, while maintaining the up and down dynamics, reported ElNacional.

Tiësto’s version of «Pepas» is the second official remix of the song, after the version made by French DJ David Guetta.

«Pepas» has allowed Farruko to reach number 1 on the Billboard charts «Hot Dance / Electronic Songs» (8 weeks at number 1), «Hot Latin Songs», « Dance / Electronic Digital Song Sales “,” Dance / Electronic Streaming Songs “and” Latin Digital Song Sales “.

The song, which is positioned at number 29 of the l The Billboard Hot 100 is currently at number 5 on Spotify’s Global Top 50 chart, with more than 311 million total views, surpassing 2.9 million views daily.

Earlier this week, Farruko made his late-night television debut performing “Pepas” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

On Thursday night, Farruko celebrated the Launch of “La 167” and all its success in Miami, recreating his grandfather’s gas station on Highway 167 in Puerto Rico.

The event included the exhibition of cars from Farruko’s own collection and replicas of the mural that still exists in that part of Puerto Rico.
