At the front is the fact that the chrome wand has disappeared from the nose of the car. This design device is the same one that was applied to the electric version of the Fiat 500, launched last March.
The filmed images also reveal the new “500” logo. Thus, the subcompact SUV of the Italian manufacturer differs from the rest of the models in the Fiat range and integrates into the 500 family.
The new emblem can be found on the outside, on the front grille, in the center of the rims and on the chrome rod on the tailgate. Inside, it has been embroidered on the seats. Another novelty is the appearance of the word Fiat on the back instead of the traditional logo.
The new Fiat 500X will receive under the hood a new 1.5-liter engine with 48 V mild-hybrid technology . It will be offered in two power versions, 130 hp and 160 hp. The unit will be available in the spring of this year at the earliest.
