Food company Nestlé starts new billion-dollar share buyback

Zurich The Swiss food giant starts as planned on Monday with a new share buyback program. By 2024 Nestlé wants its own Acquire stocks worth up to 20 billion Swiss francs, as the company announced.

About half of these should be bought back in the first twelve months. Nestlé had the benchmarks The buyback was announced a good three weeks ago in connection with the partial sale of a share package in the French cosmetics group L’Oreal .

The Group concluded the current share buyback program on (today) Thursday . Of the planned maximum repurchase volume of CHF 20 billion, a good 13 billion has been exhausted.
