Dortmund – The Fire department has a young one Deer rescued from an open sewer shaft near a forest in Dortmund . A walker had become aware of the animal on Sunday afternoon because of loud screams.
The man had alerted the rescue workers and led them to the shaft, the fire brigade announced on Sunday. Two helpers would then have lifted the animal out. It ran unharmed into the nearby forest – and thanked its rescuers “with a last shout”.
