There have been rumors of a remake for months , remaster or rerelease of the three classic 3D Grand Theft Autos. GTA 3, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas came out in less than 4 years and established the franchise as a mainstream behemoth. According to the rating agency, there is now finally a contemporary version of those three games.
The Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition obviously has a ‘youthful not allowed” rating from the Korean body. The violent games have always been labeled 16 or 18 and older, depending on the market.
For the skeptics who think the rating might be for another GTA-related project: Rockstar Games is already selling the three games in question for different platforms under the title ‘Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy’.
By putting ‘Definitive Edition’ behind it, a publisher is basically saying that the version comes with all the trimmings. That means sometimes with DLC, but sometimes with the latest graphical improvements. Since all leaks keep talking about that, that seems extremely plausible. In any case, it would be the witch hunt on old GTA mods declare.
