Epson introduced a novelty for film, but especially game fans. Its High-End 4K 3LCD projector Epson EH-LS12000B is equipped with a pair of HDMI 2.1 inputs and supports the 4K120P mode, the specified input lag should be 20 ms. Of course there is support for HDR modes HDR10, HDR10 and HLG.
The novelty boasts a laser light source, which ensures a light output of 2,700 lumens, the stated contrast is 2,500,000: 1. The result should be an excellent rendition of black, but at the same time legibly rendered dark shades. There are 4K Frame interpolation and 4K Super Resolution functions, the projector should have adaptive gamma correction / automatic contrast extension according to the displayed scene.
Optics offer 2.1x zoom, color space coverage should be 85% DCI / P3. To achieve 4K resolution, Epson uses eShift technology, the native resolution of the display is 1920 x 1080 pixels. Interestingly, 3D is not supported.
The Epson EH-LS12000 projector will be available in black and white, the price for the EU is 4,999 Euro, which is approximately 125,000 CZK. )
