Gigi Becali sold Olimpiu Moruțan (22 years old) to Galatasaray this summer. The businessman received 4.2 million euros for his player, plus performance bonuses of 1.5 million euros because the Istanbul club qualified for the Europa League groups. It’s just that the Turks didn’t deliver the promised money to the FCSB’s account.
But Becali claims he was expecting to this scenario and is convinced that he will finally get his money back on Olimpiu Moruțan.

Becali: “I told Vali Argăseală to give one phone call ”
“Why should I be upset? When you sell in Turkey and Arabia, you need to know that you are not taking the money. You take the money to UEFA or FIFA, to the commissions. I knew that. It’s not a problem, you don’t take them immediately, but in 3-6 months you still take them.
The Turks and Arabs should expect you to take the money later. We don’t stop to ask. I told Vali Argăseală to make one phone call, then to the commissions ”, said Gigi Becali at Digi Sport .
This season, Olimpiu Moruțan ticked 24 appearances for Galatasaray, in all competitions, managing to score 3 goals and to provide 3 decisive passes. Only his performances could not help the club from Istanbul to get out of the bad pass, currently being on the 13th place in the championship, with only 27 points after 21 stages.
