Google is using AI to make information more useful

As we’ve said in the past, Google knows you better than anyone, knows what you like, how you like it, and in fact, even when you like it. That’s why having a service like these, taking care of various services, is a bit scary… But it’s also extremely effective in increasing our productivity levels.

Having said all that, Google, which is obviously the biggest information aggregator and provider on the planet, seems to be looking to implement even more artificial intelligence in the way it gives us news. Now read it.

Google is using AI to make the information more useful

So it was during this week that Google revealed some plans for the future of search. Mentioned a combination of image and text, in order to give some more context to what the user is doing in the most popular search engine on the planet.

In fact, the new method is even capable of using the smartphone camera. To in combination with artificial intelligence, produce more intuitive and refined search results.

The technology is called MUM (Multitask Unified Model), serving as a way to understand, in an intelligent way, what the user is looking for, through images and text. The idea is to offer more ways to search, whatever it is!

However, we still have no idea when to functionality will hit the market, in fact, apparently, not even Google knows very well when it will happen, mentioning only that it will come, gradually, in the coming months.

        What is the MUM for?

According to Google, if, for example, the user asks for Mt. Fuji, the search engine will return historical facts, weather, size, etc… With MUM, it will be possible take a picture of any kind of equipment, and later on, Google will be able to tell you whether or not it’s a good idea to use what’s in the photo, in a mountain climb.

Besides, what do you think about all this? Do you think it will be useful? Please share with us your opinion in the comments below.

Pediatrician Calls for Ban on Coal as Santa Christmas Punishment

On Amazon, you can buy red velvet bags emblazoned with "you've been naughty" and stuffed with pieces of real coal. I'm not the only one who thinks so. Pediatrician Tamsin Holland Brown
