An association, Thursday Business Group (TBG), a leading business and social organisation, has announced its latest philanthropic endeavour, the “Soul 2 Soul” initiative, in collaboration with its charitable arm, the Kajola Foundation.
The programme, designed to provide essential food supplies to underserved communities, recently made a significant impact in the Kosofe Local Government Area, reaffirming TBG’s commitment to giving back to neighbourhoods in the Kosofe community.
During the launch event, Mr. Akinola Tukur, the Guvnor of TBG, reiterated the organisation’s dedication to uplifting the Buhari Community through the Soul 2 Soul initiative.
Also present was Mr. Moyo Ogunlewe, Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Area and Special Guest of Honour, who delivered a compelling speech highlighting the value of collaboration between the public and private sectors in community development.
He commended TBG and Kajola Foundation for their commitment to social responsibility and outlined his administration’s interventions in road development and provision of basic amenities to enhance the quality of life for residents.
The inaugural distribution of packed food items benefited over 100 households, providing a range of essentials such as rice, beans, garri, and various seasoning items.
Chairman of Kajola Foundation within TBG, Mr. Gbolahan Dixon, expressed delight in launching the “Soul 2 Soul” food distribution program, emphasizing the organisation’s commitment to making a positive impact in communities.
