Picture the scene: you are driving through unfamiliar streets and decide to use the mobile map to find your way around. However, the internet crashes out of nowhere. For situations like this, Google Maps has a feature that allows access to the app’s map without the need for a connection wi-fi or 4G.
The solution is to download the local map in the app before leaving home (or while you are sure you have internet). Even using the app offline, it is possible to locate yourself and have access to information such as route, route duration and the option of car for long distance commuting.
