Huawei is having a hard time in the world of smartphones, this is nothing new for anyone. (Still, it’s about to release a new smartphone!).
However, in terms of notebooks, the manufacturer remains very strong, in fact, it seems to be improving with each passing year.
After all, we had the opportunity to test some of their models, and we were always very pleased by their performance, build quality, and of course, their price.
Well, now it’s time to say hello to MateBook 16, a notebook from Huawei capable of combining a 16” screen (3:2 ratio) with an AMD Ryzen 5000 processor. A laptop, apparently, is going to be released globally!
Huawei wanted to prove that the smartphone has already ‘killed’ the camera
Huawei is still very strong in laptops!
Therefore, this ultrabook was originally announced in May 2021, being first released in the Chinese market. But in the meantime, it will also arrive in Europe, with the cheapest model starting at €1099 (Ryzen 5 5600H), while the more equipped model starts at €1199 (Ryzen 7 5800H).
Interestingly, Huawei claims that its MateBook 16 is its first high-performance notebook. All thanks to the aforementioned processors, and of course 16GB of RAM, 512GB of super-fast NVMe storage, as well as luxury connectivity (BT 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6).
However, as we are talking about a notebook that wants to be top of the range, despite its attractive price, we have here a 16” screen capable of reaching 2520 x 1680 resolution. , with super thin margins.
In the battery field, we have an 84 Wh cell with 135W fast charging support (USB-C) .
Unfortunately, we still don’t know when this “boy” will hit the market, but with these specifications and price, it’s going to be a serious case in the world of super portables.
Besides, what do you think about all this? Do you like Huawei laptops? Please share with us your opinion in the comments below.
