Images of shame arrive from Thessaloniki, without the universities having opened well.
Typical are the photos that saw the light of day today with many students waiting patiently for a meal from the student club.
As reported by voria.gr, today at noon a queue of tens of meters was formed outside the student Club of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, which was approaching the contribution of Egnatia with the 3rd of September.
And all this trouble without even going to the restaurant, but only to pick up their food take away.
The Vice Rector for Academics Affairs and Student Welfare, Dimitrios Kovaios, speaking to Voria.gr, said that the club continues to operate by receiving food with the take away method as, despite the JMC that allows students to enter the area with a certificate of vaccination or illness , because maintenance work is being carried out on site.
He attributed the huge queues to the fact that New Year’s documents require more time “but also” in the good food served “on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
“This is the awesome preparation made by the Rector of AUTh and the Ministry of Education for the opening of the Foundation. The students of the largest university in the Balkans are waiting for a long time in this huge queue to eat at the Club. What will happen in a few days when the weather will be cold? Will anyone apologize for this? The Municipality is not interested in dealing? Is there anyone left who is a little ashamed?
Which of those responsible for this disgrace would never leave his own child to stand in line for an hour in the cold to eat a plate of food ??? » Stavros Panagiotidis, PhD in History, typically comments by publishing relevant photos.
