In a study, the Institut der deutschen Wirtschaft (IW) evaluated the line between high and high earners in Germany. The interactive graphic to see where you stand with your income compared to others can be found in the middle of this text.
Whether someone is one of the top earners depends According to the study, it depends heavily on whether or not children live in the household. Couple households without children are clearly most frequently represented in the upper income bracket.
