Ianród Éireann is trying to find the owners of a young puppy who travelled by train from Kildare to Dublin this morning.
The black dog with a white chest is being cared for by the Irish Rail Customer Information team in Heuston Station.
He alighted the train in Newbridge early this morning.
In a tweet, Ianród Éireann said: “Is this your dog?
“This little dog travelled by train from Newbridge early this morning and is now being cared for by our Customer Information team in Heuston Station until we find its owner.”

Facebook user Sarah Behan said he “hopped on the 6:57am train to Heuston” this morning.
