Israel will donate 2.5 million doses of Astraznica vaccine to Africa

The Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Health announced last night (Wednesday) that it has been decided to donate about 2.5 million doses of vaccines to the corona of the Astraznica company to countries in Africa and other countries. The donation is part of the COVAX initiative led by the WHO, which is intended to provide equal access to vaccines for corona to developing countries as well.

The vaccine can also be given to those who refuse to receive mRNA vaccines.

Last June, Israel agreed with the Palestinian Authority that it would deliver about a million doses of Pfizer vaccine that was about to expire, in exchange for the same amount of vaccine doses intended for the authority.
