The Latin Recording Academy announced the nominees for the Latin GRAMMY 2021 with Jay Wheeler obtaining two nominations for Best Urban Song and Best Reggaeton Performance for his success with Myke Towers, “La Curiosidad”.
These are Jay Wheeler’s first GRAMMY nominations.

The artist did an Instagram Live this afternoon to talk about his nomination and could not contain his tears.
“La Curiosidad”, written by Jay Wheeler and Myke Towers and performed by Jay Wheeler, DJ Nelson and Myke Towers became the anthem of 2020 and has since accumulated 614 million views on YouTube. The song gained so much traction that it generated two remixes due to the number of artists who wanted to participate in this phenomenon.
“La Curiosidad RMX Red” includes Becky G, Arcángel, De La Ghetto, Zion & Lennox and Brray, and has garnered more than 24 million views, while “The RMX Blue Curiosity” features Jhay Cortez, Rauw Alejandro, Lunay, and Kendo Kaponi, and the video has been viewed 76 million times.
The 2021 Latin GRAMMYs will return to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Thursday, November 18, broadcasting live on Univision starting at 8 pm ET / PT (7 pm CT). Ahead of the 2021 Latin GRAMMY telecast is the Latin GRAMMY premiere ceremony, which will take place at the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, where the winners in most categories will be announced. .
