Kate Middleton’s strict behaviour rule that can’t be broken at home explained

Prince William and Kate Middleton have a strict rule at home that their three children must follow.

The royal parents have made communication in their household a priority for Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, but with strict guidelines as they’re not allowed to shout.

“Shouting is absolutely ‘off limits’ for the children and any hint of shouting at each other is dealt with by removal,” a source told The Sun in June 2020.

The Prince and Princess of Wales use these ‘removal’ moments as an opportunity to talk through feelings on a ‘chat sofa’.

Instead of leaving the children alone with their thoughts, a parent is there to help them understand what happened, reports Mirror Online.

This no-shouting rule also applies when William and Kate are disciplining George, Charlotte, and Louis.

“They are taken away from the scene of the row or disruption and talked to calmly by either Kate or William. Things are explained, and consequences outlined, and they never shout at them,” the insider revealed.

Parenting consultant Kirsty Ketley has previously spoken about Kate’s child-led parenting style.

Kirsty revealed a secret parenting tip from Kate, admitting: “She often proves that she and William prioritise being there for their three babies as often as they can be.”

She added: “Kate has mentioned in the past that she and her husband make a point of doing the school run each morning and afternoon as much as they can.”

The princess herself shared that she takes inspiration from her own childhood to raise her kids.

While chatting on the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast, she shared: “I had a very happy childhood. It was great fun I’m very lucky, I’ve come from a very strong family my parents were hugely dedicated to us my siblings. I really appreciate now as a parent how much they sacrificed for us.”

She continued to share memories, saying: “They would come to every sports match I was very keen on sport they came to every sports match, they’d be the ones on the side-line shouting, and we’d always have our family holidays together.”

But it’s the simple things that she cherishes most, stating: “But I think the things that really resonate with me most are the simple things and actually I see that now with my own children, life now is so busy, so distracting and actually sometimes the simple things like watching a fire on a really rainy day provides such enjoyment.”

Kate added as a child she loved “doing the simple things” like taking a walk together, which she tries to do with her own children.
