La cocaïne responsable du retour de la violence dans les stades selon les autorités anglaises

Le retour de la violence dans les stades ne serait pas seulement le fruit de la fin des confinements successifs. Si la crise sanitaire a un impact sur le phénomène, selon un rapport publié ce mardi par la police anglaise, cette hausse serait également à mettre au crédit de la consommation de produits stupéfiants. Selon les autorités locales, la consommation de cocaïne serait l’une des causes de ce retour de la violence chez les supporters.
Ainsi, « plusieurs consommations de drogues dans les toilettes » ont été rapportées par le chef de la police locale lors du derby entre Millwall et Crystal Palace, le 8 janvier dernier, où une bouteille avait notamment été projetée sur Michael Olise. Le dernier incident en date ? Un supporter faisait irruption sur le terrain lors de la défaite de Leicester (4-1) sur la pelouse de Nottingham Forest. L’individu avait ensuite attaqué les joueurs de l’équipe de Championship après le troisième but de celle-ci.
Une recrudescence qui devrait donc laisser des traces.
