P op star Madonna is a guest on Jimmy Kimmel’s show, where she made sensational revelations about her career.
While promoting the new documentary about her life, “Madam X”, attention was drawn to the film in which she said she failed to participate.
After being asked about the rumors that the singer and actress refused her roles in a number of films, including the role of the Cat Woman in “Batman Returns” and Nomi Malone in “Strippers” , Madonna said she regretted giving up the role in the Batman movie because the character was “great.”
At one point, however, the pop icon surprised everyone, when he said, “I also turned down a role in The Matrix. Can you believe it? I wanted to kill myself!”
The singer did not specify which role in the hit trilogy it is, but Trinity was the only leading female role in The Matrix. The cult role was played by the amazing Kerry-Ann Moss.
“This is one of the best films ever made,” Madonna said in an interview. “A small, small part of me regrets this very moment of my life,” the singer added.
