Makeup artist Marija Rakazović: How to make your own perfect palette of shadows?

The perfect palette of shadows is not easy to find since we mainly focus to use two to three shades of those available to us, while others often remain neglected. That is why Marija Rakazović pointed out to us the advantages of self-assembled pallets.

Do you have your favorite shadow palette? Are you a proud owner of at least two? And do you really use all the available shades from it, or do you mostly reach for two, possibly three? If you have nodded at each of the mentioned questions, here is one useful tip for you – consider buying mono shadows (refill) and independently creating an ideal palette. This solution does not only apply to the palette of shadows. On the contrary, you can apply it when it comes to those for contouring, blush palette, highlighter… The rule of using one to two shades in these cases is mostly repeated, since your skin tone and undertone is usually only one to two shades from a certain pallets. Even we, professional make-up artists, who have many different palettes in their suitcases, do not use all shades, because it often happens that certain colors are not well pigmented, difficult to blend… Precisely because of that, , you will achieve multiple benefits.
