Market Pulse September 30: Tensions cannot decide the trend

VN-Index struggled and moved sideways in the afternoon session, and closed at a rather low score. intraday is 1,342.1 points. This development shows that it is difficult to predict which trend the index will follow during the “transitional” period from the 3rd quarter to the 4th quarter. Group indexes VN30 and Mid Cap floor HOSE all gained similar points, but the smallcap index still gained more than 1%, which is much stronger than the main index.

Group VN30 has 1 more ticker compared to the morning, bringing the total number of stocks increasing in price at the end of the afternoon session to 13. However, the index of this group still only increased very slightly, about 0.2%.

The main index of UPCoM can be considered as the most positive increase compared to the 2 listed exchanges. Specifically, UPCoM-Index reached the highest level of the day at the close, at 96.6 points, up 0.65%. Masan or Viettel stocks on this floor continued to support the index, in addition, some large-cap codes dropped in the morning, and by the end of the afternoon session, they increased again like BSR, VEF is also seen as contributing to the boost of the index. The most unfortunate is the code GE2, there are only 3 matches in the session afternoon, all 3 times fell more than 13%.

PVN’s oil and gas group recovered and simultaneously showed green color in the afternoon session. GAS increased by 0.2% although the morning session sometimes decreased by 1 %. Many other codes also changed color, green at the end like BSR, PGD, PVC, PVS… 2 fertilizer stocks both increased stronger than before, even DCM

also hit the ceiling 6.9%.

Banks diverged in the afternoon session in a negative direction. . VCB down to 1.3% at the end of the day, This is also the lowest drop in the whole day. Similarly BID, also reduced more first%. Only MBB still increased slightly . In the group of private banks, although there were still many gainers, in general, the gain was weaker than in the morning session, even some stocks turned red.

Small and medium industry groups continued to increase hot in the afternoon session with telecommunications equipment, tobacco, logistics warehouses, passenger transport and tourism, mining… Many of these groups have already increased sharply from the morning session. In addition, there are a number of groups that are also considered more active in the afternoon session such as fertilizer, cement, pharmaceuticals, seafood, food or insurance.

Stocks related to commerce in mobile phones and technology products all increased this afternoon, except MWG. FRT, DGW still maintains the upward momentum above 4 %, even PSD increased up to 7.8%.

Morning session: VN-Index suddenly dropped at the end of the session

Group

PVN’s oil and gas group currently has a lot of discount codes, from the leading market capitalization GAS to

2 bank stocks SHB and NVB is still the support for

HNX-Index, but this index is also being affected from HOSE, there should be a trailing sign after 11am. On this floor, there are also a number of Large Cap with notable discounts such as IDC, PVI, PVS, VCS…, however, the number of largecap increases is still more than the number of decreases. price.

The banking group was little changed in the second half of this morning. It is quite sad that VCB and BIB are still discounting, in which VCB it’s not clear if it was due to foreign investors’ net selling to overwhelm the price. In contrast, the private banking group continued to maintain a slight increase.

On the 3 exchanges, there are quite a lot of hot gaining industry groups, but mainly thanks to smallcap stocks and/or trading on Upcom , for example, mining, job training, printing and publishing, tobacco, passenger transport, logistics, food, etc. If the UPCoM factor is excluded, these groups are no longer counted as an increase. hot again.

Some industry groups were still covered in green on a large scale, although few stocks gained hot like iron and steel, securities contracting, construction, port services, interior and exterior wood and stone, seafood…

Some groups of industries have negative signs in the second half of this morning, including insurance, textiles, chemicals, thermal power, coal mining, paper production…

10h30: Excitement surges

Bank group currently has many green codes, still mainly in group private stocks. 2 state-owned banks VCB and BID are decreasing slightly less than 1%, but CTG has increased in price again. More significant private gainers include SHB, TCB, BVB, BAB,

PVN’s oil and gas stocks suddenly changed a lot of red at this time. GAS dropped a bit deeper, almost -1%, but many other codes changed from increase to decrease, like BSR, PGD, OIL, PVC, PVG, PVI…2 fertilizer stocks in the industry decreased slightly.

Civil real estate and industrial zones both maintained a stable gaining position on a large scale, although there were not many gainers hot like other small industry groups. VIC has increased again, sometimes even up to nearly 2%. Real estate codes that increased in price at the beginning of the morning session still maintained a stable uptrend, except for NVL is from the beginning of the session to now turning to discount.

Many small and medium-sized industry groups boosted their price momentum, mainly thanks to smallcap stocks, or above HNX and UPCoM, such as printing and publishing group, water transportation, mining, passenger transport, water supply and drainage, tires, warehouses, etc. However, there are also some industry groups that have “worsening” situation such as fertilizer, construction, petroleum distribution…

Retail sales were more positive than at the beginning of the session, in which FRT increased by more than 4%, PNJ has increased in price by nearly 4% and DGW has increased by more than 3%.

Private bank shares increased slightly,

VN-Index opened positively

VN-Index opening early increased by more than 5 points thanks to the support of all 3 big groups namely banks, real estate and oil and gas. The negative third-quarter GDP growth information from the General Statistics Office seems to soon “end its impact” on the stock exchange. Instead, expect an economic recovery from…. Tomorrow is the leading factor in investor sentiment.

Mid and Small Cap continued to increase stronger than Large Cap, in which stocks in hot industries such as printing, publishing, distribution petrol or construction materials… The banking group this morning had a positive signal, mainly in the private sector. . Umbrella

VCB, CTG stand still, BID decrease light but many other codes increased immediately or only after ATO for a few odd minutes like ACB, STB, TCB, VPB, MSB… Hopefully there won’t be any bad changes in this group in the next few minutes.

The group of residential and industrial real estate continued to have many green coins on a large scale. On the trio of Vin stocks, VRE and

GAS opened slightly lower, but many PVN stocks soon increased in price like PVD, PVG, BSR , PGS, POW… 2 petroleum-based fertilizer giants DCM and DPM continued to increase well above 2%, but perhaps thanks to good news from the fertilizer industry, rather than benefiting from oil prices.

Index

Many small and medium-sized industries saw positive developments soon, such as securities, iron and steel, retail, food, tube, etc. tires, seafood, construction, seaports and warehouses, printing, distribution of petroleum, chemical fertilizers…
