In a viral TikTok video, plastic surgeon Benjamin Caughlin, MD, joked about creating the “greatest” jawline for a patient, only to have them get “cancelled” shortly after, including hashtags #comedian and #standup in the caption. Many commenters pointed to controversial comedian Matt Rife, who in a now deleted comment wrote, “lying about medical history is illegal, just FYI.”

“This is going to be a HUGE problem in the future,” says podiatrist @footdocdana, after a medical device company allegedly used artificial intelligence to generate an endorsement using her voice.

Why is everyone coughing? Allergist @rubin_allergy lists the likely causes.

“We have the power to create change,” wrote surgeon Blair Peters, MD, after sharing a story about what professionalism in medicine can look like.
