According to figures from the Secretariat of Health, as of this Friday, January 7, the country accumulates 4,083,118 infections and 300,101 deaths from this disease.Daily coronavirus infections continue to rise, since the number of positive cases had not been so high since last August 18, 2021.A total of 119 thousand 368 active cases of the virus were also registered, where Mexico City, State of Mexico, Nuevo León, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Tabasco, Puebla, Veracruz, Sonora and San Luis Potosí are the entities with the largest number of them.While the first 10 entities with the highest number of accumulated cases are: Mexico City, State of Mexico, Nuevo León, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Tabasco, Puebla, Veracruz, Sonora and San Luis Potosí.
