Both jackets have a luxurious thick fluffy trim around the hood, although New Look’s version has a more traditional quilted design, rather than the North Face’s classic bomber style.

New Look’s Black Faux Fur Trim Hooded Puffer Jacket, £41.24 here (was £54.99), also has both zip up and popper fastenings which help keep the cold at bay, as well as thick padded fabric that stops the chill from creeping in.
