The award-winning student Chen Minyan said that only after accumulating experience in past competitions, analyzing opponent machines and discussing coping methods with the team, can he achieve such excellent results this time. During the competition, a lot of time was spent on the modification of the machine structure and the writing of automatic programs. At the beginning of the competition, the automatic program only obtained some points. In order to improve the score, new structure enhancements were continuously carried out. During the process, the imagination and on-the-spot response increased. Experience enriches the design.
Xiao Fuyi, a classmate, said that after winning a game, in addition to being happy, he also thought about how to get more points in the next game. This game brought more than just a medal. It is more about learning how to face problems and how to cooperate with others. The co-winner Liu Junheng said that when he first participated in the MAKEX Points Challenge, he designed machines with great ambitions several times, but the final results were not satisfactory. However, he did not give up easily, and learned from repeated failures how to improve his technology. After the epidemic, he strengthened intensive training and finally lived up to expectations and achieved good results.
