NFL Twitter couldn’t believe the Chargers pulled off a comeback to force OT with the Raiders in a game where a tie would send both teams to the playoffs.

The final week of NFL action in the regular season did not disappoint. And the Chargers-Raiders game was the cherry on top of all of it.

With both sides battling for their playoff lives, and that of the Steelers, the game featured a bunch of twists and turns.

Las Vegas jumped out to a 10-0 lead before Los Angeles wrestled back the lead. A controversial pass interference call gave the Raiders the lead back and they pulled way out in front with a 29-14 lead halfway through the fourth quarter.

Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert looked at that deficit and made it disappear with two stunning drives to tie the game with no time left on the clock.

Twitter was all about that development.

Pure craziness! Cannot script this @Raiders @chargers finish with playoff spot in balance. Hard to believe that last drive.
And what % of fans in Pittsburgh are screaming “FIX!” now?

Since the game could end in a tie and both teams would make it to the playoffs, a lot of people wondered if there might be some winking and nodding from the sidelines.

It felt like everyone was rooting for a tie except for Steelers fans, who would miss out.

no one wants to see Big Ben (attempt to) play another football game. kneel this thing out, raiders & chargers.

A Chargers-Raiders tie would be the perfect way to end Ben Roethlisberger’s career

After the Raiders kicked a field goal in overtime, the Chargers answered with a field goal of their own.

That’s how close it remained between the two teams.

DC says Petr Yan thinking about UFC exit

Don’t leave it in the hands of the judges. It’s a phrase that’s been repeated so often as to become cliche in the MMA world. In a sport with few rules and many, many options for generating offense, traditional scoring methods have a way of feeling even more subjective than they do in other combat
