Manchester United’s Andre Onana has won the Premier League Save of the Month award for a second time.
The Reds keeper, currently away on international duty with Cameroon, received the accolade for his astounding double stop during the goalless draw at Crystal Palace last month.
After pushing away Eddie Nketiah’s drive, Onana reacted quickly to deny Ismaila Sarr from the rebound, when a goal seemed certain for the Eagles.

It was a key moment in the game and former United no.1 Peter Schmeichel offered his expert opinion on the save to the Premier League’s official website.
“You don’t expect it to go through him [Matthijs de Ligt],” said the Dane. “So not only does he have to react, he also has to get down and get a very strong hand to it. But the recovery is just amazing.
“A very, very good save. He’s stepping up and winning points for his team.”
Onana had a successful September on a personal note, as he was also voted our Player of the Month by the supporters.
This is the second time he was come out on top in the Premier League’s save category, with his previous award-winner being last April’s stop to thwart Burnley striker Lyle Foster at Old Trafford.
Arsenal’s David Raya was August’s victor, for a stunning piece of agility to keep out Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins’s effort.
Well done, Andre!
