In Amroha, UP, the cousin father-in-law shot and killed his daughter-in-law. The fault of the daughter-in-law was so much that she was protesting against the molestation being done with her. Due to this the cousin father-in-law felt so bad that he shot the woman, due to which she died. Surprisingly, after this the accused himself reached the police station with a pistol, which was arrested by the police. The police has sent the woman’s body for postmortem.
The incident is of Deeppur village of Hasanpur Kotwali in the district, where 35-year-old Seema was sleeping in the verandah of her house on Wednesday. The younger son was also sleeping next to him. Mother-in-law and elder son were sleeping upstairs. Then at around 2 o’clock in the night, the cousin-in-law Rajpal, who lived in the neighborhood, entered the house with the help of the roof and shot him with a pistol from the border of the border. Due to this, Seema died on the spot. After this, at 5 o’clock in the morning, the accused Rajpal himself reached the police station with a pistol and told about his action. Police reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem.
Seema’s husband Kunwarpal Chauhan had died in an accident three years ago. Since then she was living with brother-in-law. Devar Arvind works in a factory in Bareilly.
Police told that the accused Rajpal Seema is the cousin of the father-in-law and since the death of the husband, he was keeping a wrong eye on the border. According to the police, about a year and a half ago, he tried to tamper with Seema. Then Seema pushed him off the roof. To avenge this, Rajpal killed Seema.
Hasanpur Deputy SP Shrestha Thakur said that the accused Rajpal shot his brother’s son’s daughter-in-law to death and after that he himself reached the police station and informed. He said that a case has been registered against the accused and he has been arrested.
Amroha’s ASP CP Shukla said that the accused has told in the initial interrogation that his daughter-in-law had illicit relations with someone and he was angry with this. The accused has also told that there was a dispute between the two about something and being angry with this, he has carried out this incident.
