Ousama Ranking Episode 19: Release Date, Discussion and Watch Online

In episode 18, titled “Battle with the Gods,” King Bosse explained the origins of Miranjo when Bebin questioned him. The story sheds light on how the people of Houma were oppressed.

Miranjo’s mother was killed even though she was kindhearted. Hilling hoped that Bojji would save the kingdom and told Apis, Domas, and Hokuro to do what was right for the kingdom.

Ouken injured Despa and the Captain trying to help Bojji. Bojji tried to hold Ouken down but got hurt, leading to a dire state. Kage, trying to stop Ouken, changed into a shadow monster in the end.

What fate lies for Bojji and the Bosse kingdom with such a turn of events? Let’s find out as we get you the latest episode updates of the anime.

Episode 19 Speculation and Discussion

With the Bosse Kingdom in chaos, new events unfold in Ousama Ranking. The backstory of Miranjo is really intriguing, and I’m waiting to see how the kind-hearted girl turned to the dark side.

With Kage awakening an unknown ability, will he save Bojji from Ouken? I have a bad feeling about this new reveal since the underworld gate used before was one of Kage’s clan members. (So messed up)

We still haven’t heard the full story of Miranjo, which I’m sure will be explained in the next episode. It was unfortunate to see the fate of the Houma Kingdom and especially Miranjo’s mother.

The show is engaging with the new events of Bojji’s adventures to become king. Let’s see what the following episodes bring us as we wait for its weekly release.

Episode 18 Recap

This episode starts with Bebin questioning King Bosse’s intentions and Miranjo’s origins. Bosse says Miranjo is a person dear to him. He explained how when he was younger, he traveled to become a warrior.

Bosse stumbled upon a place with mages in the Houma Kingdom to fight them. The mages were at war with the gods due to people being enslaved by them. Bosse met Miranjo in the kingdom after fighting her father in a deathmatch.

With Bosse surviving, Miranjo’s mother was kind enough to save him by healing him. He then devoted his time to looking after Miranjo, who was kindhearted like her mother.

With losses in the battle against the Gods, the Houma people decided to join forces with the Gyakuza Kingdom only to find the Gyakuza people selfish and self-centered.

Even with the circumstances, the Houma people helped them with their kindness. Sadly, the Gyakuza people betrayed the Houma people and sided with the Gods.

In the process, selfish actions killed Miranjo’s mother. Meanwhile, Queen Hilling and her team find Apis wounded on the ground. Dorshe talks to Apis but gets told he only wants to save Miranjo from her suffering.

Hearing this, Hilling heals Apis which surprises others, but Hilling explains Bojji gave her the feeling of hope that they’ll be saved. Hilling encounters Domas and Hokuro, who apologize for their action and swear to protect Bojji.

After finding out Bojji’s whereabouts, Domas, Hokuro, Apis, and Dorshe check on the situation. On the other hand, Bojji is getting exhausted while facing Ouken. When Ouken tries to attack Bojji, a spear lands between the two with a strike of lightning.

The Captain and Despa appear and tell Bojji can rest without carrying the burden to protect everyone. The Captain tries to take down Ouken but gets stabbed by him. With the Captain down, Despa puts himself up to get struck by Desha’s lightning to stop Ouken.

Despa sees a vision of Ouken telling him he has to save others before his brother. He then gets stabbed, which makes Bojji attack Ouken furiously. When Bojji tries to hold Ouken, he gets stabbed in the leg by him.

With things looking bad, Ouken prepares to stab Bojji. Kage runs towards Bojji to stop Ouken and turns into a giant shadow monster out of his worries.

About Ousama Ranking

Ōsama Ranking is a Japanese comedy manga series by Sōsuke Tōka. It has been serialized online via Echoes’ user-submitted Manga Hack website since May 2017. An anime television series adaptation by Wit Studio will premiere in October 2021.

The story centers around Bojji, a deaf, powerless prince who cannot even wield a children’s sword. As the firstborn son, he strives hard and dreams of becoming the world’s greatest king.

However, people mutter about him behind his back as “a good-for-nothing prince” and “no way he can be king.” Bojji is able to make his first-ever friend, Kage, a literal shadow on the ground who somehow understands Bojji well.

The story follows Bojji’s coming-of-age as he meets various people in his life, starting with his fateful encounter with Kage.
