More than 120 Romanians, mostly women, are running in the local elections tomorrow and the day after tomorrow in Italy.

Romanians form the largest community of foreigners on the Peninsula and have the right to vote and run in the cities of residence. This is in the context in which those who have acquired dual citizenship no longer need a certificate from the country, so they apply under the same conditions as the citizens of the Peninsula. However, they must rely mainly on the votes of the Italians: very few Romanians settled here can vote, because they do not have the voter card.
Four candidates fights for Rome’s mayoralty
Rome is an ungovernable city and no one wants to be its mayor. This phrase is repeated in Italian politics, as the country’s capital has been facing problems for decades that no administration has been able to solve.
